March 15, 2020

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue working through difficult and ever-changing circumstances.  By limiting access to the residence halls, we are attempting to decrease potential for campus exposure to COVID-19.  We recognize however that students rely heavily on their campus meal plan, even when unique situations arise.  Therefore, any student with a current meal plan will be able to access the Ryle Hall Dining Center during scheduled meal times beginning Monday, March 16 (see schedule below.)

Students who have a meal plan but are not in the Kirksville area to access the dining center will be advised at a later date about how the University will be accounting for their circumstances.  As I’m sure you understand, our primary focus at this time is managing day-to-day operations and continuity of academics with student well-being at the core of every decision.

Our COVID-19 response team is meeting regularly to assess and update processes as circumstances change.  Please continue to monitor your Truman email and the https://trualert.truman.edu website for current information.
